Beloved Mother and Grandmother Thomaston - Mrs. Janice Ruth Huot, 83, entered into the gates of Heaven on February 4th, 2025, to join her husband Gerard. She was predeceased by her husband and love of her life Gerard Huot. She was born on January 7th, 1942, in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Chauncy Wrightman and Helen (Klobedanz) Wrightman. She grew up in Middlebury, CT and settled in Thomaston, CT. She worked as a Home Health Aide for 43 years, taking care of people in their homes, including many hospice patients. She touched the lives of everyone she met. Janice took classes at Northwestern Community College and Post University. She was a woman of great faith. She loved going to the ocean with Gerard and going to car shows in their 57 Chevy. She was so proud of her two grandsons who she helped shape into the men they are today. Her memory will be cherished by her loving children. Her son Christopher Huot and wife Tracy of Chesapeake, VA, and her daughter Alicia Mailloux and her husband John of Watertown, CT. Her beloved grandchildren John Mailloux and his fiance, Ashley Desena, grandchild Branden Mailloux, sister Kathy Wrightman, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Dawn Horgan and Helen Smith. Her dear friends Donald and Laraine Leveillee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, February 10th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Church (St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish) in Thomaston, CT.
