Woodbury Mrs. Jayne M. (Knightly) Oakes, 60, passed away on Friday evening, May 5, at her home. She was the wife of David R. Oakes. Jayne was born June 6, 1956 in Waterbury, daughter of Marjorie Knightly of Bristol and the late Paul Knightly. Raised in Thomaston she had attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School class of 1974. In addition to her husband she is survived by three brothers, Karl Knightly of Thomaston, Harry Knightly of NH and George Knightly of FL; two sisters, Eileen Bellmay of Thomaston and Pam Dunlap of Terryville and many nieces and nephews.
