She worked as a hairdresser on an individual basis out of her home and her clients homes until her retirement in 2010. She was an active member of St. Peters-Trinity Church, having served on various church committees, most recently the prayer shawl ministry. She is survived by one son, Bruce J. Barrett, Sr and his wife Laurie of Thomaston; one daughter, Debra Joan Barrett Daigle and her husband Reno of Thomaston, with whom she made her home; one sister, Patricia Battisti and her husband Tony of Waterbury; eight grandchildren, Bruce John, Elizabeth, Ben, Michael and Cathleen Barrett and Trevor, Noah and Keegan Daigle and several nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
