MURELL'S INLET, SC: Judy Dallavalle 76, formerly of Thomaston, passed away on February 18, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Lucy Kelmelis Thulin and Peter Martin Thulin. Judy was employed with the Dept of Children and Families in Torrington, retiring after 28 years of service. She enjoyed music, dancing, spending time at the beach and most of all family gatherings. Judy is survived by her son Arthur Petosa Jr, daughter Lori Petosa Grimshaw, three grandchildren, Sarah Grimshaw of Maryland, tommy Grimshaw of Torrington and Jordyn Petosa of Middlebury. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her pre-deceased brother Peter William Thulin. A Funeral service will be Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High Street, Thomaston. Friends may visit with Judys family from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
