Terryville - Mrs. Kathleen C. King, 57, passed away on Thursday, October 29, at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Rande King. Kathy was born September 5, 1958 in Waterbury, daughter of the late William J. Syrotchen and the late Ursula P. (McGovern) Griffin. She was raised in Northfield and had served honorably in the United States Army. Kathy had worked for many years as an LPN. She will be remembered for her love of animals and gardening. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Heather Bshara and her husband Dan and Crystal Seavey and her husband Matthew; two step-children, Christopher and Kelsey King; one brother, Robert Syrotchen; three sisters, Margaret Sudol, Mary Freimuth and Sarah Ainsworth; three grandchildren; one step-grandson; her step-father, Richard E. Griffin and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, James and Bill Syrotchen and one sister, Lynn Syrotchen. Arrangements: A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Saturday, November 14, at 11:00 A.M. at the Northfield Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lyons Funeral Home of Thomaston.
