Northfield Mrs. Liliana (Milleri) Kostecki, 98, passed away on Friday, January 7, at Abbott Terrace Healthcare Center in Waterbury. She was the widow of Adam C. Kostecki. Liliana was born January 26, 1923 in Silvi Marina (TE), Italy, daughter of the late Angelo and Lucia (DArpizio) Milleri. Liliana immigrated to the United States in 1957, settling in Chicago. In 1983 she and her husband moved east, settling in Northfield. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. She is survived by her son, Mark Kostecki of Northfield; three grandsons, Christopher Kostecki and his wife Kristin, Michael Kostecki and Stephen Kostecki; I niece and 3 nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her brothers, Osvaldo and Luigino Milleri. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 21, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church. Burial will be in the spring in the Northfield Cemetery.
