Thomaston- Mrs. Lois (Atkinson) Goldsmith Wilson, 88, died Wednesday, July 6, at Litchfield Woods Health Care in Torrington. She was the widow of Kenneth Goldsmith and James Wilson. Mrs. Wilson was born June 15, 1923 in Waterbury daughter of the late Pelzer and Hazel (Atwood) Atkinson. She was raised in Thomaston, attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. She is survived by one son, Glenn A. Goldsmith and his wife Linda of Middletown; three step daughters, Judy Baldwin and her husband Todd of Torrington, Doreen Gibbons and her husband Greg of Thomaston and Carol Beth Lizotte and her husband Joe of Plymouth; six grandchildren, Ailee Drown, Lauren Foley, Oliver Goldsmith, Joleen Lizotte, Joshua Baldwin and Joseph Lizotte and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Thelma Atkinson Allen and her great grandson Jordan Anthony Goldsmith. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, at 11:00 A.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High Street, Thomaston. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
