Thomaston- Mrs. Marie (St. Denis) Ducharme, 91, died Tuesday, August 16, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Albert Ducharme.
Mrs. Ducharme was born on March 12, 1920 in St. Albans, Vermont daughter of the late Aldei and Azilda (Bouthillier) St. Denis. She has been a resident of Thomaston for 67 years and retired from the Seth Thomas Clock Company.
She is survived by one son, Albert G. Ducharme and his wife Darlene of Morris; one daughter, Marie S. Spicer and her husband Alvin of Sandusky, Ohio; two brothers, Joseph St. Denis of Waterbury and John St. Denis of Thomaston; one sister, Rejeanne Kleindienst of Bethlehem; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank "Maries girls" from West Street Homecare who made her journey over the last 17 months much easier for her and her family.
A private graveside service will be held in St. Thomas Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
