Plymouth- Mrs. Marilyn J. (Gregory) Masi, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, January 9, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Michael J. Masi, Jr.
Mrs. Masi was born February 22, 1935 in Waterbury daughter of the late Frederick O. and Mary (McLelland) Gregory. She was raised in Plymouth, was a graduate of St. Marys Grammar School in Waterbury and Terryville High School. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church.
In addition to her husband of 55 years she is survived by two sons, Michael J. Masi, Sr. and his wife Barbara of Terryville and Christopher Masi and his wife Lynne of Plymouth; two daughters, Lynne Boynton and her husband Paul of Meriden and Victoria Rybak and her husband Stefan of Long Island, NY; one brother, Donald Gregory and his wife Gail of Torrington two sisters, Margurite McIntyre and her husband John of FL and Diane Pleva and her husband David of Thomaston; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter and a brother.
Arrangements: A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 14, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
