Mrs. Marjorie A. (Boutieller) Gangloff
Thomaston - Marjorie A. (Boutieller) Gangloff, 90, of Green Manor, died peacefully on August 28, 2010. She was the widow of William E. Gangloff.
Marjorie was born December 18, 1919, in Plymouth, CT, daughter to the late George and Ethel (Hart) Boutieller. Marjorie worked for many years as a Nurses Aid for AMR Ambulance until her 80s. She had a love for crocheting, sewing and her family. Marge taught sewing, she published a poetry book and some pieces may have been seen in the Thomaston Express. Her devotion to her family showed as she loved making clothes and wonderful memories for her children, and grandchildren. She was an on-line member to a prayer group and former member of the Plymouth Fire Auxiliary.
She was survived by her loving family, a son, Frank Gangloff Sr. of Thomaston, two daughters, Diane Gangloff OBrien of Waterbury, Bonnie Lea Casey of Sharon, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held On Wednesday, September 1, at 11:00 am at Lyons Funeral Home 46 High Street, Thomaston. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Hillside Cemetery in Plymouth, CT. Marjorie would have liked donations to be made to the Thomaston Volunteer Ambulance, South Main Street, Thomaston, CT 06787 and, or to the Thomaston Food Pantry P.O. Box 324 Thomaston, CT 06787.
