Morris- Mrs. Martha (Hanel) Cote, 76, died Tuesday morning, August 10, at Candlewood Valley Health Care in New Milford. She was the widow of Vincent Cote. Mrs. Cote was born February 25, 1934 in Jackson Heights, New York daughter of the late Charles L. and Erika (Delmonte) Hanel. Martha had worked for many years in manufacturing, as a housekeeper and as a nanny. She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Balch and her husband Gary of Thomaston; one granddaughter, Nicole; two great grandsons, Ryne and Kylan and her companion Anthony Caputo. Arrangements: Private services will be held at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston with Deacon Vincent Mitchell of St. Thomas Church officiating. Burial is private.
