Watertown- Mrs. Mary A. (Miskow) Dingwell, 92, died Tuesday, June 3, at Vitas Innovative Hospice at St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Irving W. Dingwell. Mrs. Dingwell was born July 31, 1921 in New York, New York, daughter of the late John and Katherine Miskow. She was a graduate of the Womens Garment Training High School in New York City. It was in New York City where she met Cpl. Irving W. Dingwell; they were married in 1945 and moved to Litchfield. She had been a member of the Washington Grange until moving to Thomaston. She was an active member of the VFW Post 5157 in Watertown for over 45 years. She is survived by two sons Timothy and Robert; five daughters, Patricia, Kathleen, Christine, Deborah and Mary Ann; one sister Barbara; fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son John. Arrangements: All funeral services and burial in St. Thomas Cemetery will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Lyons Funeral Home of Thomaston.
