Torrington- Mrs. Nancy (Bothroyd) Peck, 72, died Friday, December 10, at Valerie Manor in Torrington. She was the widow of George A. Peck, Sr. Mrs. Peck was born July 9, 1938 in Thomaston daughter of the late James E. Virginia (Haney) Bothroyd. Nancy was raised in Thomaston and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. She had worked for many years as a teachers aide at the Village Nursery School in Northfield. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by one son, George A. Peck, Jr and his wife Sandra of Torrington; two daughters, Lori A. Fournier and her husband Robert of Torrington and Melissa L. Kavula and her husband Daniel of Torrington; two brothers, Robert D. Bothroyd and his wife Marylou of Thomaston and James W. Bothroyd and his wife Beatrice of Thomaston; five grandchildren, Taylor Peck, Michael H. Najman, Jessica Lee Fournier, Travis James Fournier and Cassie Carol-Lee Kavula and several niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Brett Robert Peck and her brother, Scott H.
