Thomaston- Mrs. Nancy E. (Rebeiro) Rayder, 77, died Wednesday, January 19, at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Peter Rayder
Mrs. Rayder was born December 15, 1933 in Danbury daughter of the late Armindo and Manira R. (Moses) Rebeiro. She had been employed at American Radionics Manufacturing in Danbury, had worked as a waitress at Joes Bakery and Chets in Thomaston, and CPI. She enjoyed bingo, fishing, reading and drawing.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Rayder of Thomaston; three daughters, Cindy Miller of Winsted, Pamela Rayder of Terryville and Tanya Rayder of Terryville; one brother, Mindo Rebeiro of Danbury; five grandchildren, Erik, Evan, Peter, Nicole and Danielle and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Rayder and brother, Frederick Rebeiro, and long-time companion Robert "Bob" Johnson.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 27 at 7:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. Burial will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home form 6:00 P.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or the Cook Willow Recreation Department at Cook Willow Nursing Home Hillside Ave. Plymouth, CT 06786.
