Morris- Mrs. Ora (Atwood) Gilbert, 104, died Wednesday, March 2, at Litchfield Woods Health care in Torrington. She was the widow of Birdsey A. Gilbert, Sr. Mrs. Gilbert was born June 14, 1906 in Bethlehem daughter of the late Stiles and Fannie Atwood. She had been employed for many years at the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston, working in many different areas of the factory. She is survived by one son, Robert C. Gilbert, Sr and his wife Dale of Morris and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three son, Roger A. Gilbert, George H. Gilbert, Sr and Birdsey A. Gilbert, Jr and one grandson, George H. Gilbert, Jr. Arrangements: A graveside service will be held in the spring in East Morris Cemetery.
