Thomaston - Mrs. Rita Marie (Rodrigues) Ackermann, 66, passed away peacefully after a long illness at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. She was the wife of Ronald D. Ackermann. Rita was born January 13, 1949 in Waterbury, daughter of the late John and Anna (Palmieri) Rodrigues. In addition to her husband she is survived by her son, Troy David Ackermann of Thomaston; three brothers, Anthony Rodrigues and his wife Josephine of Naugatuck, John Rodrigues of Wolcott and Joseph Rodrigues and his wife Sue of Waterbury; her sister-in-laws, Dee Curry of Thomaston and Karen Cote and her husband Alex Cote of Thomaston; her father-in-law, Harvey Ackermann of Thomaston and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held in the spring.
