Thomaston - Mrs. Stasia (Micecnikowski) Klimanowski, 94, died Sunday, February 27, at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of William S. Klimanowski.
Mrs. Klimanowski was born December 1, 1916 in Thomaston daughter of the late Francis and Josephine (Rudolf) Micecnikowski. She had been employed at the former Tech Systems in Thomaston, was a member of the Thomaston Senior Citizens, was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
She is survived by two sons, Richard W. Klimanowski and his wife Audrey of Litchfield and William J. Klimanowski of Thomaston; one sister, Helen Luboyeski of Thomaston; two grandchildren, Jennifer Ruquist and Rick Klimanowski; four great grandchildren, Christopher Donovan, Jr, Alexander Ruquist, Matthew Ruquist and Leyla Klimanowski and one great-great-granddaughter, Madalyn Stasia Donovan who shared the same birthday as her great-great-grandmother. She was predeceased by two brothers, Edward and Frank Mezocowski and a sister, Genevieve Waters.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, at 9:00 A.M. from the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High Street Thomaston to St. Thomas Church for mass of Christian burial at 10:00 A.M. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring in St. Thomas Cemetery.
