Thomaston- Mrs. Stasia (Girvensky) Ostrowski, 94, died Sunday morning, December 12, at her home. She was the widow of John M. Ostrowski, Sr.
Mrs. Ostrowski was born November 28, 1916 in Waterbury daughter of the late Benjamin and Bertha (Pachulanus) Girvensky. She was raised in Waterbury and was a graduate of Wilby High School. She had been employed for many years as a beautician and later worked for G. Fox and Company. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church in Thomaston.
She is survived by one son, John M. Ostrowski, Jr of Thomaston; two sisters, Amelia DiBartolomeo and Lena V. Kuzmich both of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 15 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 14, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
