Thomaston- Mrs. Susan H. (Jackson) Sansom, 63, died Monday, February 11, at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. She was the wife of Robert B. Sansom. Susan was born December 4, 1949 in Nottingham, England daughter of Joan H. (Mellors) Jackson of Thomaston and the late Ronald Jackson. Susan and her husband Bob moved to the United States in 1970, settling in Thomaston. She had been employed at Websters Used Auto Parts in Terryville for several years and was currently working for O&G Industries, working in sales. She will be remembered for her love of traveling. In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by one daughter, Penny H. Sansom of Thomaston; one sister, Dawn Marcoux of Thomaston; two grandchildren, Hunter H. Zajch and Tyler A. Gates and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Jackson. Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Friday evening, February 15, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
