Thomaston Andeen Marie Hudak, 62, passed away at her home on Friday, June 7. Andeen was born in Torrington at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, daughter of the late Patricia (Murphy) Hudak, RN and Andrew Hudak. She grew up at her family home in Harwinton and was a graduate of Lewis S. Mills High School in Burlington and the Torrington Beauty Academy. She had been employed for many years at the DMV Office in Waterville. Andeen is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and George Lowell of Sandy Hook, her brother, Andrew Hudak of New Hartford, her nephew, Alan Hudak of Collinsville and two aunts, Betty Barrante of Torrington and Helen Olson of New Britain. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 15, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. in Thomaston. Burial will be private. In keeping with Andeens love of dogs and cats, memorial contributions may be made in Andeens name to the Connecticut Humane Society at www.cthumane.org or to your local animal shelter.
