New York, NY- Ms. Ashley A. Kozlosky, 24, formerly of Thomaston, died Wednesday, November 23, in Hartford as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Ashley was born November 3, 1987 in Waterbury daughter of Anthony B. Kozlosky, Jr. of Wolcott and Kathleen M. (Scully) Blanchette of Bristol. Ashley was raised in Thomaston, attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School, where she excelled in track and cross country. She received her degree in graphic design from the University of Hartford and was employed by Allied World in New York City and Farmington, CT.
Ashley started art lessons at a young age and showed her potential very early. It was her dream to live and work in New York and she was excelling in her chosen profession. She will be remembered as an avid runner and one who loved music, baking and the beach. Ashley gave in death as she gave in life and was a donor.
In addition to her parents she is survived by two sisters, Tammy Marie Brauer of Germany and Camryn Conroy of Wolcott; her paternal grandmother, Rose Marie Kozlosky of Thomaston; her maternal grandparents, Roger and Joan Scully, Sr. of Thomaston; her step-father, Ray Blanchette of Bristol; her step-mother, Allison Kozlosky of Wolcott and her aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be greatly missed by her two closest friends, Eve Windebank and Eric Terino.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 28, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Sunday, November 27, from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
