Thomaston Barbara Jane Wheeler, 84, passed away on Thursday, July 5, at Apple Rehabilitation in Watertown. Barbara was born September 11, 1933 in Waterbury, daughter of the late William and Marianne (Britton) Wheeler. She had been employed as a supervisor for many years at the Torrington Company, retiring in 1985 after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Covenant Church of Thomaston. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, including, Joyce Pinette, her God-Son Douglas and the Pinette family. She was predeceased by her sisters, Eunice and Midge Samoska and Arlene Brightman. A private graveside service was held in the Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston. Memorial contributions may be made in Barbaras name to the Covenant Church 64 Grove St. Thomaston, CT 06787.
