Thomaston- Ms. Carol Jean Brower, 71, died Tuesday morning, September 18, at the Waterbury Hospital. Carol was born September 15, 1941 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Chester and Clara (Baldwin) Brower. She was a lifelong resident of Thomaston and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. She had worked her entire career for CPI Corp. in Thomaston. She enjoyed reading, the theater, playing the organ and NASCAR. She is survived by her two nieces, Dawn M. Grenier and her husband Joe of Thomaston and Kelly Lukas and her husband Paul of Prospect; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Joey and Joshua Grenier and Evan and Melanie Lukas. She was predeceased by her brother, Keith A. Brower. The family would like to thank the staff of Paradigm of Prospect for the wonderful care she received. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 22, at 10:00 A.M. at the First Congregational Church of Thomaston. Burial in East Morris Cemetery will be private. There are no calling hours.
