Thomaston Mrs. Nancy (Scott) Werner, 98, passed away on Monday, June 29, at Apple Rehabilitation in Watertown. She was the widow of Harold Werner. Mrs. Werner was born May 23, 1922 in Hartford, daughter of the late Robert A. and Geneva (Langenberger) Scott. She had worked for Pierponts Village Store and then at Plume and Atwood. She was a very active member of the former Trinity Church in Waterbury and St. Georges Episcopal Church in Middlebury. On May 10, 1944 she enlisted in the Womans Army Corps and was honorably discharged on May 20, 1946 as a clerks typist. She loved her cats. Services will be private.
