Thomaston Mr. Paul E. Austin, 90, formerly of Oakville, died Sunday morning, May 7, at Autumn Lake of Cromwell. He was the husband of the late Flora (Ruby) Austin. Paul was born February 4, 1927 in Waterbury. Raised in Oakville he had attended local schools and had been employed at Seymour Smith and Sons for over thirty five years, retiring in 1989. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Frances G. Parker of Thomaston; his God-Son, Thomas E. Parker, Jr and his wife Denise and their children, Hannah and Kyle, all of Thomaston and many nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, May 10 from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. Memorial contributions may be made in Pauls name to the Alzheimers Association of Connecticut by visiting www.alz.org
