Northfield Mr. Paul B. Ledoux, 92, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, at The Pines of Bristol. He was the husband of the late Lorraine M. (Gelinas) Ledoux.
Paul was born July 4, 1932, in Quebec, Canada, son of the late Arger and Alice (Cormier) Ledoux. A devout Catholic, Paul had dedicated five years of his life to the Brotherhood in Canada. He then followed his family to Norwalk, CT and met his future wife, Lorraine. Paul and Lorraine eventually settled in Northfield. He had been employed by Savin Brothers Construction, Pelletier Carpentry and Howmet Aerospace, from where he retired.
Paul was a member of the Knights of Columbus, played softball, tennis and was an avid bowler. He was a communicant of St. Thomas Church.
Paul is survived by, his daughter, Debra L. Farslow and her husband Michael of Bristol, his son, Marc A. Ledoux, Sr. of Northfield; his brother, John Ledoux of Danbury; his sisters, Denise Mitchell of Berlin and Marie Bloom of Norwalk; four grandchildren, Erika Sacharko and her husband David, Kieran Farslow, Kaitlin Baum and her husband Michael and Marc Ledoux, Jr.; four great grandsons, Owen Sacharko, Oliver Sacharko, Lucas Baum and Liam Baum and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Michelle Cyr, who helped Paul remain independent in his home for many years and whose friendship he cherished. Further, thanks to the staff of Connecticut Community Care, the Hospice teamMichelle and Nicole, the staff of the third floor at The PinesMeghan, Simone, Angie, Gina and Isiah to name a few, your support of Paul and his family will always be remembered and his roommate Bill, it was a short friendship, but you were always there to help when his family could not be there and that was a comfort to us.
Mass of Christian burial and burial will be private.
