Phyllis L. (Lamb) Scott, 91, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. She was the wife of the late Robert Scott. Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Thomaston, with the exception of many summers from 1950 through 2005 living in a cottage on Bantam Lake. Like her other sisters, who all went into nursing, she was a nurse at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital through the 1970s. She was predeceased by her mother, Edith Lamb in 1968, her father, Arthur Lamb in 1972, her sister, Doris Lamb in 1983, Her Husband of 57 years, Robert Scott in 2005, and her sister, Edith Schmidt in 2006. Surviving is her Sister in Law, Nancy Werner of Thomaston, her niece, Barbara Schmidt of Thomaston, and her Nephew and his Wife, Edgar (Skip) & Linda Schmidt of Howell, NJ. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, at St. Peters Trinity Church, 160 Main Street, Thomaston. Meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston.
