Raymond Batick, 76, passed away on December 15, 2025.

Raymond Batick was born on October 8,1949 in Waterbury, CT, to Philip Batick Sr and Pearl S Batick. Raymond graduated from Thomaston High School in 1967 and attended Laurel College where he played Basketball and was class president. He was always a gifted basketball player and a star Berkshire League Player. He was offered a full scholarship to Villanova. 

In a wintery night in January 1972, his life tragically changed when he was involved in a car accident. He never made it back to playing the sport that he loved so much. Although he had many trials and tribulations, he will always be remembered as a great guy, never in a bad mood and always making friends laugh, and the ladies smile with his looks and charm.

Ray leaves a few nieces, nephews and cousins.
