Obituary

Thomaston Mrs. Rena M. (Liu) Suckley, 85, passed away at Cook Willow Convalescent Home in Plymouth on Tuesday, November 28. She was the widow of Allison R. Suckley. Rena was born in China on January 14, 1932, daughter of the late Delbert and Oilene (Wilbur) Liu. She had lived in Thomaston for many years and then moved to California. She retired as an administrative aide for the Pomona Unified School District. She returned to Thomaston in 2009. She is survived by one son, Allen R. Suckley and his wife Valerie of Claremont, CA; two daughters, Karla Magruder and her husband William of Hoboken, NJ and Marguerite S. Case and her husband Pete of Thomaston; three brothers, Jerry Liu of MD, Donald Liu of NJ and David Liu of FL; two sisters, Juanita Su of CA and Claudia Liu of NY; her son-in-law, Ole Olson of MD; six grandchildren, Erin Perez, Ashley Kelvington, Chelsea Burcham, Madeline Jacques, Sam Suckley and Max Suckley; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Terry L. Olson.
