Thomaston – Corporal Richard Patrick Clark, 85, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Marie Maybelline (Daigle) Clark for 60 years.
Richard was born in Meriden on February 26, 1941, son of the late Maurice and Dorothy (Fagan) Clark. He was a graduate of Leavenworth High School Class of 1959 and proudly went directly into the Marines. He was a member of American Legion and Fish & Game. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping, snowmobiling, scrapping, and traveling; but most of all - Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he was very proud of.
Including his wife, May, Richard leaves behind his sons, John Clark, Richard Clark Jr., Steven Clark, and his wife, Anna, and Eric Clark; his grandchildren, Steven P. Clark, Kayleigh Como, and her husband, Johnathan, and Shalan Paul; his sister, Carol Marcella, 1 great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Janice Clark.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 17 at 12:00 p.m. with military honors at 2:00 p.m. at Thomaston Fish and Game Club, 730 Old Northfield Road, Thomaston.
