THOMASTON Mr. Robert J. Brophy, 80, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024. Born in 1944 in Waterbury, Bob was the son of the late Richard and Ruth (Perkins) Brophy. Bob was a lifelong resident of Plymouth and Thomaston. Bob was a retired elementary teacher in Region 10. As a member of Thomaston's Ten-2-One Artists, he was best known for his paintings. Bob leaves several cousins and friends who will miss him deeply. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 10 AM in St. Thomas Church/St. Maximillian Kolbe Parish at 1 East Main St. Thomaston.
