Thomaston- Mr. Robert G. Platt, Sr., 67, died Sunday, September 20, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Paula (Cipriano) Platt.
Mr. Platt was born October 17, 1941 in Waterbury son of the late John W. and Eleanor (Green) Platt. Raised in Waterbury he attended local schools and was a graduate of Crosby High School class of 1960. Following graduation he had designed homes for Arbor Homes of Waterbury, shortly after he opened Contractor Products in Waterbury. He was a member of Harmony Lodge #42 AF & AM, a member of the Bristol Fish and Game Club, loved hunting, scuba diving and his animals.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Kevin R. Platt of MA and Robert G. Platt, Jr of ME; one brother, John W. Platt, Jr of WA; one sister, Muriel McDonough of CA; two grandchildren, Maximilian G. Platt and Alexandra J. Platt and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his first wife, Sheila Verbyla Platt.
