Robert A. Wolstencroft, Jr., 69, of Thomaston, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012 at the Winsted Health Center, Winsted. He was the husband of Ellen (Kinsman) Wolstencroft. Mr. Wolstencroft was born in Pawtucket, RI on July 7, 1942 a son of the late Robert A. and Ruth (Shelver) Wolstencroft, Sr. He retired after many years as a corrections officer with the State of Connecticut. Robert also was a member of the Bristol Fish & Game Club. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Robert A. Wolstencroft, III of Plainville; Christopher Wolstencroft and his wife Jackie of Terryville; two daughters, Dawn Wolstencroft of PA and Tracy Wolstencroft of CT; five grandchildren, Sarina, Robert, Shannon, ChrisJr., and Mary and one great grandchild, Ryan. Services are private.
