Northfield- Mrs. Rosann M. Rutkowski, 65, died Thursday morning, February 19 at the Hartford Hospital. She was the wife of Stanley W. Rutkowski, Sr. Mrs. Rutkowski was born July 5, 1943 in Waterbury daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie (Weidorn) Knox. Raised in Thomaston she attended local schools and moved to Northfield after her marriage to Stanley. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and friends and will be remembered as being fun to be around. She loved to read, do puzzles and care for her dog, Bumbles. In addition to her husband of 47 years she is survived by two sons, Stanley W. Rutkowski, Jr and his wife Michelle of Natic, MA and Thomas C. Rutkowski and his wife Jennifer of Winsted; one daughter, Pamela J. Ehmke and her husband Todd of Torrington; three brothers, Edward Knox of Marianna, Fl, Ronald Knox of Colchester and Robert Knox of Sandisfield, MA; one sister, Shirley Moat of Quincy, FL; five grandchildren, Eric, Ian, Evan, Gregory and Melissa and several nephews and nieces. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Sunday evening, February 22 at 6:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in the spring.
