Thomaston Mr. Roy S. Normand, 60, passed away on Thursday evening, May 21, at his home. He was the husband of Pamela (Vadnais) Normand. Roy was born October 9, 1959 in Waterbury, son of the late Peter G. and Ruth (Lister) Normand. Raised in Waterbury he attended local schools and was a graduate of Wilby High School. He had a long career as a tool setter, starting with the Garmac Company and the Waterbury Screw Machines. In addition to his wife, he leaves his son, Zachary Normand of Thomaston; his daughter, Sarah Normand of Middlebury; two grandchildren, Aaliya and Aaiden Cruz; two brothers, Paul Normand and his wife Elizabeth of Waterbury and Kenneth Normand of Waterbury; three sisters, Linda Lovejoy of Waterbury, Tina Gelinas and her husband Stephen of Naugatuck and Tammy Crosby and her husband Mark of Waterbury; his mother-in-law Carol C. Marcella of Waterbury; his brother-in-laws, Adam Vadnais of Waterbury and Michael Vadnais and his wife Retta of Bethlehem and many nieces and nephews.
