Bristol- Miss Ruth H. Lawson, 103, formerly of Litchfield and Thomaston, died Thursday, January 21, at The Pines of Bristol. She was born in Bethlehem on August 5, 1906 daughter of the late Charles W. and Anna J. (Carlson-Riden) Lawson. She had been a resident of Bristol since 1993; she had been employed as a legal secretary in several area law offices and in other area firms until her retirement. She is survived by two nieces, Mary L. Davanzo of FL, Anna M. Prior of Terryville; four nephews, Richard H. Lindsey of Kent, J. Fred Lawson of New Hartford, William T. Lawson of Cushing, OK and John T. Lawson of Morris and many great and grand nieces and nephews and cousins. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday evening, January 26, at 7:30 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:30 P.M. until time of service. Burial will be in the spring in the East Cemetery, Litchfield.
