Thomaston- Scott T. Quick, 34, died on Tuesday, July 7, at the Waterbury Hospital. Scott was born October 2, 1980 in New Milford, son of Franklin E. Quick, Jr and his wife Jane of Waterbury and Carol (Cole) Hanson of Thomaston. Scott had worked in quality control at Demsey Manufacturing in Watertown for 5 years. He will be remembered for volunteering his time around Thomaston to many worthy causes, his love of fishing and gardening and as a regular at Pattis Place. In addition to his parents Scott is survived by two brothers, Franklin E. Quick III of Austin, TX and Steven C. Quick of Thomaston; one sister, Samantha-Sue Hanson of Thomaston; his paternal grandfather, Franklin E. Quick, Sr of Waterbury; his step-brother, Blaire Morad of MA; two step-sisters, Jennifer Schneider of PA and Manejah Terzi of MA and one niece and one nephew. He was predeceased by his step-father, Gary L. Hanson. Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 11, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
