Thomaston Sean E. Severson, 39, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Sean was born in the 5th G. Army Hospital, Boebligen, W. Germany, on November 8, 1985, son of Herbert and Donna (Chamberlin) Severson. He was raised in Thomaston and graduated from Thomaston High School. Sean proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as an Aircraft Powerplant Repairer, retiring after more than 20 years of faithful service on November 30, 2024. Sean had a great sense of humor and loved fishing and the outdoors. He also enjoyed reading and was a true animal lover; but most important, Sean was a great Dad who cherished his sons, and his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Sean leaves behind his mother, Donna Severson and her life partner, James Harrison; his father and step-mother, Herbert and Marcia Severson; his two beloved sons, Cadhan and Malachy Severson and their mother, Honoria Severson; his siblings, Delina Lyons, and her husband, Stefan, and their daughter, Isla, of NJ; Erik Severson; Ian Severson; and Marissa Severson; his loving partners, Tisha and Lyss Iris; and many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. A Celebration of Seans life will be held on Saturday, February 15 from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion, 211 Elm St. Thomaston. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Sean's memory for the benefit of his children.
