Shriley Innes Devoted wife and mother, Services Saturday THOMASTON- Mrs. Shirley (Sanderson) Innes, 94, entered the gates of heaven on Wednesday April 24th at Cook Willow Health and Rehab in Plymouth. She was the devoted wife of the late Harry Innes. Born in Waterbury on July 15, 1929, Shirley was the last of the eleven children of the late Robert and Mary (Clark) Sanderson. She was a Thomaston resident most of her life and worked for Thomaston Savings Bank. Most of all, her passion was her family. She also loved flowers, reading the Bible and the Psalms, and doing her daily crossword puzzles. She leaves a son Daniel (Nanette) Innes, and five daughters, Candace (William) Boden, Cheryl Boguslawski, Susan Kane, Janet (David) Bartosiewicz, and Joanne (Chris) Aylott, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. In addition to her husband Harry and her ten siblings, Shirley was predeceased by her sons-in-law Henry Boguslawski, Richard Kane, Richard Sanford Jr. and her grandson Luke Sanford. Shirleys family would like to thank everyone at Cook Willow for the fine care she received there. Both Shirley and Harrys lives will be celebrated on Saturday April 27, 2024 with Graveside Services in Hillside Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
