Shirley (Ariola) (Mankoski) Maslak, 72, passed away on Saturday, August 19, at Cook Willow Convalescent Home in Plymouth. She was the best friend and companion of Mick Colligan. Shirley was born April 9, 1951 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Anthony and Nancy (Capaldo) Ariola. In addition to Mick, she is survived by three sons, Edward Mankoski, Alan Mankoski and Scott Mankoski; her brother, Paul Ariola; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother and two sisters. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 26, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. Burial will be private.
