Stella M. Ososki
THOMASTON Stella M. Ososki, 98, of Randolph Ave., died at Waterbury Hospital Wednesday, November 04, 2009. She was the widow of Paul Ososki.
Stella was born February 28, 1911, in New Britian, daughter of the late Anthony and Phyllis (Zabielska) Dluglolenski.
She lived in Thomaston from the time she was married in 1931 until the present and was employed by the Torrington Company, retiring in 1973.
Stella was a communicant of St. Thomas Church of Thomaston and belonged to the Rosary Guild. She was also a member of the Terryville Plymouth Senior Center. She started each day by watching the televised Catholic Mass. Stella enjoyed travel and was an avid UCONN Husky fan.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews including Jessie Zygiel of Bristol, Delia Christenson of Berlin, Joan Stankewicz of Harwinton, all of whom assisted in her care. Francis Kaminski and his wife Norma of Watertown were her primary caregivers. She was predeceased by two brothers, Alexander and John Dluglolenski, two sisters, Helen Kaminski and Hedwig Whitney.
Arrangements: A calling hour will be Saturday from 8:45 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street, Thomaston. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
