Traci Chase-Rodriquez, 54, of Thomaston, Connecticut, passed away on July 22, 2026. Born on November 1, 1971, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Traci lived a life defined by her unwavering devotion to family, her generous spirit, and a warmth that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Traci proudly served her country as an administrative specialist in the Connecticut Army National Guard, where she demonstrated the same discipline, dedication, and sense of duty that characterized every aspect of her life. She went on to earn her Associate of Science degree from Naugatuck Valley Community Technical College, an accomplishment that reflected her determination and commitment to personal growth.
Of all her achievements, Traci considered the birth of her son, Daine, to be her proudest moment. She was an exceptional mother who poured her heart into raising him with love, strength, and unwavering support. A devoted wife to Johnny, she placed family above all else and built a home filled with love, laughter, and purpose.
Those who knew Traci understood her to be outspoken, witty, and deeply caring. She had a remarkable ability to notice the little things that others might overlook, whether it was a kind word someone needed to hear or a small gesture that could brighten a difficult day. She was a loving friend to all who crossed her path, and her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. Traci held a deep love of nature and wildlife, and she found great fulfillment in gardening and caring for her beloved pets. These quiet passions spoke to the tenderness at the heart of who she was.
Traci is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Rodriquez, her cherished son, Daine Rodriquez and her loved son-in-law Jared Marsh. She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Diane Chase.
May her spirit find the peace and beauty she so treasured in the natural world and may those who loved her carry forward the kindness and warmth she so freely shared.
We will all miss you, Traci.
