Tribute

Thomaston – Mrs. Alice (Alexander) Brazee, 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, at her home. She was the widow of John J. Brazee.

Alice was born April 20, 1930 in Harwinton, daughter of the late Julius and Elizabeth (Zutant) Alexander. Alice retired after over 50 years of service at Whyco Chromium. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader, loved to crochet and travel.

She is survived by her daughters Linda MacKiernan and Joan Anctil and her husband, Louis; her five grandchildren, Travis MacKiernan and wife Kelli, Sarah Wilson and her husband Brian, Jennifer Siecienski, Douglas Anctil and his wife Casey and Priscilla Anctil; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Jack, Landon, Joselyn, Wesley, Cameron, Emma, Abby, Kayla and Stephen; several nieces and nephews, including Marion Dwyer, with whom she held a special bond; several great-nieces and great nephews; her sister-in-law, Sandra Alexander; many cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Helen Cipriano and two brothers, Walter and Alfred Alexander.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 22, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. A time of fellowship and remembrance will be held after the committal in the church hall.
