Barbara L Losee

 Northfield – Barbara L. Losee, 92, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019. She was the wife of the late Warren E. Losee.

Barbara was born on February 15, 1927 in Northfield to Louis and Gladys (Gill) Leigh. During WWII she worked at Seth Thomas in Thomaston. She was a member of The Northfield Women’s Literary Club for 60 years. In addition to her family, Barbara loved animals and baking.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Virginia Chambers; Pamela Rinkus (Tom); and Lauren Losee; her sons, Warren Losee Jr. (Sharon); Robert Losee (Barbara); and Brian Losee; her grandchildren, Jennifer Rinkus; Tom Rinkus Jr.; Kaitlin Cahill; Robert Losee Jr.; Deborah Smith; and Patrick Losee; her 6 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Barbara is predeceased by her sister, G. Virginia Freimuth; brother, Louis (Raymond) Leigh; and son in law, Richard Chambers.

A private graveside service will be held in the Spring at a date to be determined.
