Thomaston – Mr. Daniel H. Limbert, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 16.
Daniel was born September 22, 1932 in Bridgeport, son of the late Charles and Natalie (Balsis) Limbert. Dan was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the Army Airborne Division. He worked as an owner operator with Red Ball, Allied Van Lines, United Van Lines, North American Allied and lastly retiring from West End Moving and Storage.
He leaves many nieces and nephews, including Elizabeth A. Sears, her husband Ken and their children, Dan and Stephanie, with whom he resided. He was predeceased by his siblings, Barbara Limbert and Natalie Limbert Veillette and his nephew William J. Veillette whom he taught and shared with the love of the trucking world.
