Delores C. Barron

Torrington – Delores C. Barron “Dee”, 86, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021
Born in Torrington to Beverly (Wellersdick) Stoddard and Arthur DeLisle. She was the loving and devoted wife of the love of her life, the late John “Benny” Barron.

Delores is survived by her daughters, Diane B. McGrane (George) of Portage, ME., Anna Barron of Thomaston; son Michael Barron (Susan) of Torrington; four grandchildren, John Lukasavage Jr. (Katie), Michelle, Samantha and Sabrina Barron; and three great-grandchildren, Dakota and Gage Lukasavage and Cody Barron. She also leaves two sisters, Adrienne Cavarly of Litchfield and Audree Peters of Litchfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, John A. Barron; and her brothers Donald and Lucien DeLisle, all of whom she loved very much.

Dee was a Thomaston resident for 67 years before moving to Torrington. Amount her many interests, Dee could often be found playing her accordion and singing with friends and family, out to tag sales, or riding her Rebel motorcycle.

Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston is assisting the family with arrangements. Due to COVID restrictions, burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
