Thomaston – Doris A. Boucher, 90, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019.

Doris was born in Waterbury on January 15, 1929, daughter of Leo and Alma (Perreault) Boucher. Doris played basketball for SNET during her employment as a telephone operator. She was also employed for many years with Uniroyal, Winchester Electronics and retired from Summit Corporation. She enjoyed watching wrestling; loved shopping, especially with coupons; and enjoyed visits to the Golden Arches. Being a generous person with a big heart, Doris was always helping others, and took great pride in caring for her beloved family.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Latimer, and her husband, Chuck; her grandson, Jamison Babcock, and his wife, Ashley; her great grandson, Logan Babcock; her brothers, Leon Boucher; and Emil Boucher; her sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Boucher; and Carol Wiltshire; her sister in law, Dyanne Boucher; and many nieces and nephews.

Doris was predeceased by her longtime companion, Peter Zarrillo; her brothers, Raymond Boucher; Robert Boucher, and his wife, Margaret; Maurice Boucher, and his wife, Clara; Normand Boucher; Lawrence Boucher, and his wife, Gracie; and Walter Boucher; his sister, Shirley Iaccoviello, and her husband, Mike; her sister in law, Mary Boucher; and her brother in law, Bob Wiltshire.

Services will be held privately as per Doris’ wishes.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the entire staff at Cook Willow in Plymouth, and Albie, her home health aide, for the exceptional care they gave Doris, and the compassion they showed her family.
