Thomaston – Erica Aline Saucier, 28, of Thomaston, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Hartford Hospital following a short illness surrounded by love ones.

Erica was born on August 18, 1989 in Bristol, daughter of Rena (O’Neal) and the late Richard Saucier, Jr. Erica attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School, class of 2007. Erica had an infectious smile and radiating laugh that always lit up the room. She will be remembered as a very compassionate, helpful and loving person. She also enjoyed singing, dancing and she cherished the time she was able to spend with her son and nieces.

Besides her mother, Erica is survived by her husband, Christopher Main; her son, Vincent Tyler Main; two sisters, Megan Caron, and Paige Hill and her husband Garrett; nieces Alayna, Ayva and Marley; her maternal grandmother Alberta O’Neal; paternal grandparents Richard and Susan Saucier; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Bertram O’Neal; and paternal grandmother Bernice Grey.

Erica gave in death, as she gave in life and was able to save two lives through organ donation.

A memorial service will be held on October 7, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. at The Lyceum in Terryville, 181 Main St., Terryville. A dinner will follow the services. Erica will be laid to rest privately and at the convenience of the family with her Papa O’Neal.
