Thomaston - Mr. Francis Benjamin Dorazio, 81, of Thomaston, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital. He was predeceased by his first wife, Virginia (Smith) Dorazio; and his second wife, Ann Guarnieri.

Frank was born on February 27, 1936 in Plainville, CT. Son of the late Ermento and Irma (Cromach) Dorazio. Francis was a talented organist and played in many local churches including St. Thomas in Thomaston.

Francis is survived by his seven children, Terry, Michael, Donna, Kathy, Anthony, Francine, and Jennifer; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his girlfriend, Christine Lytle.

Family and friends may call on Monday, April 17 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 18 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, 1 East Main St. Burial will follow In Silver Lane Cemetery in East Hartford.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Frank's name to St. Thomas Church, 19 Electric Ave., Thomaston, CT 06787.
