I knew Fran from Santa Maria Drive as we hung together briefly in our teen years and always seen him around town-Waterbury. This big guy, who to me looked like a Viking, was always good natured, always had the longest hair, biggest smile, and heart of gold in readily sharing his thoughts, observations, and whatever he had. He was a good friend to all he met. While I have not seen him in quite awhile, but fond memories of him and the kids of that street will stay with me forever. God bless Fran into Paradise!
